"My wife and I were lucky to recently spend some time in your beautiful country on a Distant Journeys tour of North and South islands. Just wanted to say thanks to both Peter (North Island) and Robin (South Island) who both looked after us very well. Both displayed great knowledge and easy-going personalities - though they are clearly different people! In these difficult times we felt it appropriate to stay positive and take the time to say Thank You - particularly to Robin who had the difficult task of presiding over what could have been a disaster with flights closing all around and potentially no way home for us. Robin took the time to get us to the airport and stayed till all had boarding passes - a credit to Leopard and himself. Hope you are all well and coping with the new World we find ourselves in. "Roger was our driver on the recent Christchurch Boys’ High School sports exchange with Otago Boys’ High School in Dunedin, and in all areas he can only be described as superb. His manner with the staff and the students was warm, friendly and cooperative. Roger went out of his way to accommodate all of our needs. He was also an exceptional driver. His skill set on the steep, narrow and winding roads of Dunedin was impressive to watch. On the open road he was equally calm and focused. "I have just returned from my five-week holiday in New Zealand & Australia. I was on the 'Best of New Zealand' tour from Distant Holidays between 15th March - 8th April, starting at Auckland, finishing in Christchurch. Our Driver and tour captain "Alan" was not only an excellent and extremely safe driver, his knowledge of New Zealand made the tour outstanding. Alan put himself out to ensure the tour went smoothly, especially the diversion to Christchurch when the Franz Joseph section was cancelled due to the storm and bridge collapse in that area.
